Meet Tim Schram

Tim Schram is a lifelong resident of Sarpy County with a history of dedicated service to the community. Prior to being elected to the Public Service Commission in 2006, Tim had extensive past experience working with small businesses related to farming and auction businesses. Tim served on the Sarpy County Board of Commissioners elected three times, serving from 1994 through 2006.

Tim received a Bachelors of Agricultural Economics degree from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

Service to the community does not stop with his role as an elected official. Tim also serves on the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Committee on Telecommunications, Mid America Regulatory Conference, State Telecommunications Relay System Advisory Council, National Telecommunications Relay Board, Gretna Optimists, Sarpy County Fair and Rodeo. Tim also volunteers his time and services for benefit auctions for the Heart Association, Cancer Fund, Diabetes Association, Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited.

In the past, Tim Schram has also served in capacities with the Nebraska Roads Classifications and Standards Board, Sarpy County Planning Commission, Sarpy County Extension Board, the Nebraska Beginning Young Farmer Board, Alegent Midlands Hospital Advisory Board and the University of Nebraska President’s Advisory Board.

Tim is a lifetime member of Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Gretna.
